The L.A.N.D. - Leadership Academy for a New Direction is the vision of Koos and Jeni Basson. Rapidly, the L.A.N.D. became a reality when their hearts were broken witnessing the hopelessness of so many young individuals wandering the streets without direction. Like sheep without a shepherd to lead. Koos said, "the L.A.N.D. was established to lift up leaders to release their God given potential to Raise a Nation!"

Goals:

• Give high school and young adults an opportunity to explore their potential in a trustworthy environment.
• Teach pathways to a strong, stable, and successful living.
• Aide growth with confidence and understanding in a positive future focused atmosphere.

Objectives:

• Develop leaders youth 8th grade to young adults.
• Provide life skill programs in coordination with local high schools to fulfill required curriculum.
• Life orientation lessons utilizing the L.A.N.D. for holiday camps and outdoor recreational activities.
• Christian educational programs designed to coach biblical principles for discipleship and mentoring.

Opportunities:

• To raise up a generation through the 7 life impacting principles that shape a nation: Family, Religion, Education, Business, Government, Media, Arts/Entertainment.
• Identify and develop leaders. Teaching entrepreneurship and/or provide practical vocational skills.
• Educate on Christian principles of discernment.

     Habakkuk 1:5 tells us, "Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it."
